below is some information about pricing on each plan, what it includes, options,
our connection to the internet, etc.
Our Building
All sites are hosted in a 11,000 square foot Network Operations Center
(22,000 as of 12/98) which is located in a Telco grade building. As a result,
our Internet connections are plugged directly into backbone providers which
are located in the Network Operations building. (Sprint, MCI, DIGEX, GOODNET, MFS, and UUNET).
Inside Our Building
All the web sites we host travel only to the floors below, or to the floors
above, which leads to the center, the Internet backbone. Why is distance
important? Miles are seconds, and in the Internet every second counts...an
eternity for an anxious web surfer, a loss for you if they are a customer.
Our Connection
Our 2 DS-3s (T-3s) and 6 T-1 Internet Backbone is connected into Cisco 7500 series
routers. What does all this mean? SPEED !! Your website will always be fast
and reliable. In fact, we guarantee�99.9% up-time.
Our Machines
State of the art SGI ORIGIN 200 and ORIGIN 2000 servers for UNIX and state of
the art SAG and COMPAQ servers for NT.� All of our servers feature ULTRA
SCSI redundant drives (RAID 5), and redundant power supplies.� The Network
Operations Center is fully equipped with backup power and power generators
(48-Hours on gas generators).�We also do a 10 TERAbyte back-up each
night, which only takes 15 minutes.

If we are backing up the server, which takes about 15 minutes, we
do it during the latest hours possible, so if your page is down
throughout this 15 minutes, it does NOT mean we have broken our
guarantee, we do backups for YOU.
